14.2Â Â Installation
To download and install FLIR Client 12:
14.3Â Â Logging In
When you open FLIR Client 12,‎ you will have to log in using your NVR credentials before accessing the system.
To log into the NVR using FLIR Client 12:
-
Enter the Device ID of the NVR.

Note
|
You can get your Device ID from the QR code label on the top panel of your NVR,‎ or by clicking
on the NVR’s Taskbar.
|

Enter the Client Port (default: 35000)‎
-
Enter the User Name for the account you wish to log in using (default: admin)‎.
-
Enter the Password for the account you wish to log in using (default: 00000000)‎.

Note
|
The default password will only work if you are accessing the NVR for the first time using the FLIR Client 12 software. If you completed initial setup on the NVR,‎ you will have created your own,‎ secure password which should be used to access the system.
|

Click Login.
-
If you are accessing the NVR for the first time from the computer,‎ you will be asked to enter a new password. Enter the password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.

Note
|
Your new,‎ secure password should be used from now on to access your NVR locally,‎ as well as remotely using FLIR Client 12 or the FLIR Secure app for smartphones and tablets.

Click OK.

14.5Â Â Playback & Search
Search for and play back video recordings using FLIR Client 12.
14.5.1Â Â Search for Recordings
To search for recordings:

Click Playback in the top-right corner of the window.
-
Select a day on the calendar to search for recordings from. Days with recordings appear with a red underline.

Select the recording type to search for from the dropdown next to Type,‎ or select All to search for all recordings.
-
Check the channels you would like to search for recordings from. Check Synchronous playback to play all channels at once.

Click Search.
-
Recordings that fit your search will be displayed in the timeline,‎ which continuous recording represented by green,‎ and
motion by yellow. Click a section of video where you would like to begin playback and click the

Calendar: Select a day to search for video from.

Type: Select the type of recording you want to search for,‎ or select All to search for all recordings.

Playback Channels: Check channels you would like to search for video from. Check Synchronous playback to play all channels at once.

Search: Click to search for recordings based on your criteria.

Timeline: Recordings that fit your search will be displayed in the timeline.

Continuous recordings are represented by green bars,‎ and motion by yellow.

Use the

buttons to increase or decrease the timeframe of recordings shown on the timeline.

Playback Area: Double-click a channel to view in full-screen.

Video files available for download during your current playback period are shown in the pop-up window.

Check any video files you would like to download to your computer.

You can see the start time,‎ end time and file size of each video before downloading.

Use the navigation controls to determine how many files appear on each page and to move between pages of video downloads.

Once you have made at least one selection,‎ click Start Download to download the file(s)‎ to your computer.
